Lo-fi, pop-punk family fun

KIDCARPETblogpic

Kid Carpet (Ed Patrick) makes disco-punk music with Casio keyboards, plastic (and sometimes real) instruments and other things people have thrown away. We are thrilled that he is bringing his brand new touring show to ART FLEA on Sunday 19th May.  The Noisy Animals follows four toy animals as they make friends, play games, need the toilet, contemplate the universe and finally rock out at a grand dance contest. The show involves some lo-fi technological wizardry and turns ordinary everyday toys into magical superstars with the aid of a video camera, comedy and punk rock.  A playful and energetic extravaganza of music and theatre for children (and the big kids masquerading as parents). Don’t miss it!
Time: Show starts at 12 noon.
Tickets: advance tickets £5, available online from sitefestival.org.uk or from Trading Post, Kendrick Street, Stroud; or on the door for £7.
