Meantime presents JOHN WALTER

Meantime is an artist-run project-space in Cheltenham presenting an active and engaging programme of residencies, exhibitions, workshops and live events including experimental music, film and performance. It is through his residency at Meantime that John Walter came to the attention of ART FLEA and we are thrilled that he is bringing the latest in a series of Maximalist Projects to Stroud. The John McCririck Memorial Bar is a hybrid of painting, hospitality and performance. John Walter trained at Ruskin School of Drawing and Slade School of Fine Art, has had several art residencies in the UK and Canada and won numerous awards including the Vivian Leigh Prize at the Ashmolean, Oxford and the Drawing Centre Viewing Program Award in New York.
